Right of withdrawal

This is an English translation of the existing Latvian text. If there is any discrepancy, the Latvian version shall prevail.

A consumer may return goods purchased from the PROLINE.lv online store within 14 days after receiving the goods, in accordance with Paragraph 19 of the Latvian Cabinet regulations on distance contracts. At the same time, Section 12 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law provides that the consumer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods caused by using them for purposes other than establishing their nature, characteristics and operation.

During the withdrawal period, the consumer may handle the goods only to the extent necessary to inspect them, in the same way as would be possible before purchasing them in a conventional shop. The consumer is responsible for handling beyond what is necessary for inspection, for handling incompatible with good faith, and for any reduction in the value, quality or safety of the goods.

SIA PROLINE BALTIC Latvia reserves the right to bring a civil claim for losses connected with a reduction in the value, quality or safety of returned goods, including where goods are not returned in their original packaging or show signs of careless use, such as scratches or similar defects. Damage to packaging will not form the basis of a claim where opening or otherwise damaging the original packaging was necessary to inspect the goods. In such cases, please keep the packaging and return it with the goods, because the product serial number may be stated on the packaging. Please open such packaging as carefully as possible.

Computer games, personalised devices, software, and body-care and hygiene products are not accepted for return where the applicable legal exception applies.

How to exercise the right of withdrawal

Contact SIA PROLINE BALTIC Latvia at Elijas iela 21, Riga, LV-1050. To obtain a refund, complete the withdrawal form in writing and deliver it to the service provider personally or by post.

The amount paid for the goods will be refunded to the indicated bank account no later than 14 days after receipt of the notice exercising the right of withdrawal.

Returned goods must be delivered to Elijas iela 21, Riga, LV-1050 without delay and no later than 14 days after notification of the decision to withdraw from the distance contract. The consumer is responsible for preserving the quality and safety of the goods during the withdrawal period, including keeping the packaging complete and undamaged.

The returned goods must be complete and include all accessories supplied in the package, such as cables. If the goods were purchased in a campaign together with another item, the complete set of goods must be returned.

A consumer is a natural person who wishes to purchase, purchases or may purchase or use goods or services for a purpose unrelated to that person’s economic or professional activity.
